Porto Badisco or L'approdo di Enea (The Aeneas' Landing) it's considered the "birthplace" of Italy. For mythology Aeneas, escaping from Troy landing here, Virgilio, or Virgil in english, the Aeneid's writer (the same than guide the poet Dante in the Hell in the Divine Comedy '-') describe Porto Badisco in that way:
